Tom Stamper

Tom Stamper’s Klezmorim group played syncopated Yiddish Dixieland music in the ’70s and ’80s to crowds of 10,000, ending up on NBC’s Prime Time and in Carnegie Hall ’ with an Emmy nomination for their album, Notes from the Underground. He has been called an “impresario”- coming up with the ideas and making things move from entropy to crescendo through a lot of incarnations.
