I grew up with a recording studio in my basement owned and operated by my father Steve Griffith (Vector / Liquid Disc / Visual Records). I dabbled in bands, playing percussion and drum kit but didn’t find my real passion for music until moving to New York. While pursuing music there, I supported myself as an art director and graphic designer. I played drums and created art for Operator Music Band’s first two releases, and performed with the band throughout NYC, Brooklyn, Baltimore, and DC. After parting ways with Operator, I continued to grow as a musician studying under Greg Fox, scoring short films, and performing with experimental composer Jonathan Bepler. At the core of my pursuit of music is my belief that sound is a powerful tool for spiritual growth, healing, and self-discovery.
